We are keen to develop the online ‘voice’ of TIC+ to speak to our various audiences. The right candidate for this role will be flexible and have a real desire to make a difference. You will be a motivated, experienced clinician with a specialist interest in this field, can work well in a team and passionate about the health and wellbeing of Children and Young People. Senior counsellors will have the opportunity to progress to Specialist Counsellors (subject to interview) once the minimum level of training and experience has been met.

The successful applicant will support the Finance Manager in operating the finance function for TIC+ ensuring proper and accurate financial records are kept. Hours: 10am – 2pm Monday – Friday (You may be asked to work evenings on occasion as holiday cover or to provide additional staffing). Possible working days are: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday in Gloucester or Mitcheldean or Tuesday, in Mitcheldean Contracts are fixed term from 1st February 2021 until 31st March 2022 (mainly term time hours) subject to funding.

This is an exciting opportunity to join TIC+ as a part-time Marketing & Communications Assistant (1 year Fixed term contract) to support us at a time of growth and development. We want to grow awareness of our services and fundraising and increase our digital footprint to reach new audiences and engage with young people, families and supporters in Gloucestershire and elsewhere.

Hours of work: 20 – 37.5 hours a week. Ideally the role would be full-time, but we are willing to consider a minimum of 20 hours per week over 4 days. Holiday: You will receive 5.6 weeks’ holiday per year inclusive of public/bank holidays (pro-rata for part time employees). The primary focus will be to engage with boys and young males to encourage them to access mental health support at an early stage, in locations where they are most comfortable and likely to engage. You will drive the programme forward by developing and delivering workshops, focus groups and informal awareness raising sessions. You will build connections across multiple districts with a range of local clubs, schools, community groups and sports centres to highlight the issues surrounding mental health and identify ways to reduce the stigma around poor mental wellbeing among boys and young males.

Ensure timely production of monthly financial reports (on an accruals basis) for trustees and budget holders. We share anonymised information with organisations and people who fund the service. We also share anonymised information with researchers from universities who use it to study the impact and effect of the tic+chat service, and follow all legal requirements for this. No identifiable information will ever be shared outside of our organisation for research purposes. Tic+ Chat (pronounced tic chat) is for young people aged between nine and 21 years old who need someone to talk to.
